Deanna Carbonara

APDA Tiny Tots, SCPD Petites, Juniors 5 - 12 years &

Ladies Teacher

Deanna is the current 2018 Ladies National Grand Champion and has also held this title in 2011, 2014 and 2017 and has been awarded numerous other national places throughout her career. Deanna has 16 years of physie and dance teaching experience and has a university degree in education.

Amanda Beveridge

APDA Tiny Tots, SCPD Petites & Juniors 5 - 6 years, Ladies Teacher

Amanda has been a member of Shellharbour City Physie & Dance for over 20 Years. Physie is basically her life! Her passion for the sport made her want to be part of the teaching team. Amanda loves to travel, on any free weekend you'll find her hopefully on plane or on the beach.

 

Karen Cohen

5 - 8 years Teacher

Karen has placed and won at National level on numerous occasions and in 2009 was the overall Senior Grand Champion. Karen has a university degree in Physical Education and is experienced in many areas of dance and sports.

 

Katie Richardson

13 - 15 years & 16 - Intermediate Seniors Teacher

Katie has extensive experience in performing and choreographing a variety of dance styles and is one of the Australian Physie and Dance's top choreographers. She has achieved many national places to date, and was also crowned Miss World Australia in 2008. Katie is also  qualified dietitian with a special interest in the heath and well being of children and Young adults.
 

Gabrielle Good

13 - 15 years, 16 - Intermediate & Elite Seniors Teacher

Gab has over 25 years dedicated to physie and dance.

Achieving her place in national finals as well as attaining national places.

Amy Parramore

Elite Seniors Teacher

Amy has over 25 years experience in physie and dance, and more than 10 years teaching experience. She has achieved great results as both a teacher (National Champion in the highest open senior section in 2015) and as a student (National 2nd place in 2017).

Jayne Cosgrove

Dance-ABLE Teacher

Jayne has been involved in support work for school aged children for 5 years now and has been working as a teacher's aide in both high school and primary school settings since 2019. Jayne is currently completing a special and inclusive education degree. Jayne has competed at a National level on numerous occasions and looks forward to sharing her passion for Physie and dance with her students.

Cheryl Beveridge

Founding Teacher

Cheryl was the first teacher at Shellharbour City (previously Albion Park Rail) after it was formed in 1982 by a group of local ladies.  She taught the entire Club from Babies to Ladies for many years, until with her encouragement and support she has passed the baton to her students.
With a passion for physie and dance, Cheryl was involved in the professional development of all teachers, and retired in 2020.


 

Meet the J.A.T.S

SCPD Junior Teaching Assistants

We are very lucky to have some very committed Junior and Senior members of our club, that love physie as much as we do, that attend classes every week and help our teachers during class. Our J.A.T.S also run our Stretch program before classes.
